We could be seeing figure skating champion Michelle Kwan (photo by Kevin Rushforth) on the campaign trail next year.
Conservative blogger Jeff Quinton is reporting that Michelle Kwan’s husband, Clayton Pell, has quit his job at the US Department of Education to put together an exploratory committee to run for office.
Previous reports had said Pell, the grandson of the late U.S. Senator Claiborne Pell, was considering a run for Governor of Rhode Island. Pell is reportedly concerned how the campaign would effect Kwan. The couple will celebrate their first anniversary next month
