Despite Jeremy Lin’s notoriety, there have been been more than a handful of others that have flirted with the NBA.
Filipino American Jordan Clarkson is a teammate of Lin’s on the Los Angeles Lakers (pictured).
7’5″ center Sim Bhullar is of Indian descent and was drafted by the Sacramento Kings before being cut this season.
There have been several others who have flirted with the NBA in the past as well including Japanese American Rex Walters and Filipino American Raymond Townsend.
There are also several others including my favorite Willie Woo Woo Wong who played for the University of San Francisco. He also happens to be my uncle.
