Just Jared is reporting that CBS has picked up the pilot for the television remake of the popular movie Rush Hour.
The movie series starred Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker, and its been reported previously by AsAmNews that the television series would have the same premise. A Hong Kong detective teams up with a cocky African American LAPD police detective.
Casting for the two lead roles are underway, so it doesn’t sound as if Chan and Tucker will reprise their roles for television.
