Asian American shop owners in the Brooklyn neighborhood of Bensonhurst are becoming more vocal about a group of teenagers who have been terrorizing them with threats, taunts and thefts since last summer, reports the Gothamist.
The situation was first reported by the Chinese daily newspaper Sing Tao.
“When we close the door sometimes they stand outside with a knife, or they stand outside with fruit and just throw it at us,” Karen Ye, the daughter of the herbal store owner told CBS NY.
